Community Testing

From today (Friday 26 February) Derbyshire Dales residents are being asked to come for a coronavirus test as part of the county council’s targeted community testing programme. Our testing centre is in the Members’ Room at County Hall, Smedley Street, Matlock, DE4 3AG. The opening times are 9am to 7pm every day.

Alternatively, if Buxton is more convenient for Derbyshire Dales residents, they can use our centre there. It is at the Pavilion Gardens, and also open 9am to 7pm daily.

One in three people who have the virus don’t have any symptoms, so everyone is invited to come along and get a test to protect their family.

The testing is NOT for people with actual coronavirus symptoms -  they  should book a test – see here: Get a free NHS test to check if you have coronavirus - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
